Trump, Pence to speak at SBC auxiliary events in Indianapolis
Both former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence are scheduled to speak at auxiliary events during the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) annual meeting in Indianapolis.
Pence will address a luncheon hosted by the SBC Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission on Tuesday, June 11. Meanwhile, Trump will be a virtual speaker at the Life and Liberty Forum, organized by the Danbury Institute, on Monday, June 10. The luncheon, which features 15 speakers including prominent conservatives, aims to explore topics related to life, liberty, and Judeo-Christian values.
Despite Trump’s legal troubles, he remains popular among Southern Baptists, while Pence has distanced himself from Trump recently.
