Kevin Ezell, president of the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention, broke years of refusing public comment May 10 in an email to state Baptist association leaders providing what he says is “helpful information” in the ongoing defamation case involving NAMB and former state executive director Will McRaney.
