Powerful pastors and agency leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) have always been quick to label alternative opinion and news sources as being written by bloggers in their basements attempting to “sow discord among the brethren” (Proverbs 6:19), but it is often those very sources that bring to light important information about the denomination.
